MORE THAN 25 YEARS OF FULL-TIME PROFESSIONAL FLIGHT INSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING:

 15 Years training flight crews with Japan Airlines                                   

 
Erin spent a decade and-a-half, training professional airline crews in Northern California, using standardized, professional training methods in high-Performance reciprocating and turboprop aircraft, and full-motion simulators.

Many of her former students are now flying as captains on Boeing 747 and 767’s

Chief Flight Instructor  for iFly, Training in G-1000 Columbia 350’s

Trained and certified at the Columbia Factory in Bend, Oregon, Erin has accumulated 500 hours of Technically Advanced Aircraft experience,
including new owner Standardized Transition Training, Refresher Courses,
BFR’s,  Recurrency Training, and Glass-Cockpit Instrument Training.                                                

Taildragger, Upset Training, Introductory Aerobatics Training

After earning her Private Pilot Certificate in 1981, Erin accomplished a Taildragger and Aerobatics transition course in a Citabria, and has been in love with the sport ever since!  She has taught basic aerobatics in Citabrias, Decathlons, and Cubs, as well as Japan Airlines’ Swiss-built Bravo, since 1987.
                                                                                                                       

Award – Winning Globe Swift Owner

In 1987, Erin purchased a 1946 Globe Swift, N3304K. Though flyable at the time, it had suffered from many years of neglect.  Erin spent years restoring it to its current Award-Winning condition, and has flown it around the country and as far as Tennessee.
